Esscoat NT Construction Method

Preparation for work

Operation timingIn principle, construction shall be carried out at the time when the basic construction for ceiling attachments, such as anchors, hangers, etc. necessary for all duct work, piping work, etc. is completed.
TemperatureDuring construction in winter, the temperature at the construction site, the surface to be stuck, the construction period, and the curing period is maintained at 4°C or higher. If the construction is to be carried out at a temperature below 4°C, the temperature shall be maintained during the standard curing period after construction, such as heating necessary to maintain a temperature of 4°C or higher.
Surface treatmentAfter removing oil, contaminants, rust fragments, and other foreign substances that may impair the adhesion performance of the spray material from the surface to which the spray material is to be constructed, start the spray operation.

Construction method

When using a ribbon mixer, stir the product and water in a weight ratio of Esscoat NT and water as 1:1.2~1.5 for 2 to 4 minutes.
The distance between the tip of the nozzle and the construction surface is 30 to 60 cm apart, and the construction angle is maintained at 90°, but spraying construction below 70° is prohibited except in special cases.
For spray work, the thickness of possible spray is up to 80 mm at a time in consideration of field conditions, but recommended to spray 30 mm or less at a time, and may be reinforced to ensure safety as necessary.

Curing

For curing, rapid drying should be avoided in places with adequate ventilation, and the curing period is as shown in the table below.
